Calf

This is a male calf that we saw in a dairy farm. You can see its little horns just growing out. There is a number tag on its ear to identify it.

Poinsettias

Poinsettias are not poisonous. A study at Ohio State University showed that a child would have to eat more than 500 leaves to have any harmful effect. However the milky sap of the plant may cause mild skin irritation. You might also want to keep your pets from snacking on poinsettia leaves as eating the leaves can cause them to vomit or have diarrhoea. The showy colored parts of poinsettias that most people think of as the flowers are actually coloured bracts (modified leaves).

White Bittergourds?

It's the first time I've ever seen white bittergourds. They're popular with Taiwanese. Not only do the people there cook the gourds for meals, they also drink the juice. You should try it some day. It's really quite refreshing. In addition, the fruit drink also has health benefits, helping the body to rid itself of toxins.
